At Made For Dogs, we’re committed to offering fair and competitive pricing on the products we carry. While we carefully curate premium, field-tested gear for dogs, we understand that pricing matters—and we’re happy to review eligible price match requests whenever possible.

Price Match Availability

Price matching is available only on select brands and products.

Due to brand agreements and supplier policies (including Minimum Advertised Price or “MAP” restrictions), not all items are eligible for price matching.

Eligible Retailers

We only consider price matches from:

  • Major national retailers
  • Authorized brand retailers
  • Verified and reputable stores

The retailer must:

  • Be based in the United States
  • Be an authorized seller of the brand
  • Have the item in stock and available for purchase

Marketplace & Reseller Exclusions

We do not price match third-party marketplaces or resellers, including listings on platforms where multiple independent sellers operate.

Price Matching Not Accepted From:

  • Amazon
  • eBay
  • Walmart Marketplace third-party sellers
  • Target Marketplace third-party sellers
  • Best Buy Marketplace third-party sellers
  • Etsy
  • Facebook Marketplace
  • OfferUp
  • And other similar marketplace or peer-to-peer platforms

What Is a Retailer Marketplace?

Many major retailers operate marketplaces, where third-party sellers can list products alongside the retailer’s own inventory.

These listings are typically labeled with language such as:

  • “Sold by [Third Party Seller]”
  • “Fulfilled by [Third Party Seller]”
  • “Shipped by [Third Party Seller]”

👉 These are not considered direct retailer listings and are not eligible for price matching.

To qualify, the product must be:

100% sold and fulfilled (or shipped) directly by the authorized retailer

Product Requirements

To qualify for a price match, the item must be:

  • Identical (same brand, model, size, color, and condition)
  • New and unused
  • In stock and available for immediate purchase
  • Priced publicly (no login, membership, or hidden pricing)

The final price comparison must include any applicable shipping charges.

Exclusions

We are unable to price match:

  • Clearance, liquidation, or closeout items
  • Promotional pricing, coupon codes, or bundled offers
  • Flash sales or limited-time events (e.g., Black Friday, Cyber Monday)
  • Membership-based pricing (e.g., warehouse clubs)
  • Pricing errors or misprints
  • Out-of-stock or backordered items

Brand & Supplier Restrictions

As an authorized retailer of the brands we carry, we adhere to brand and supplier pricing policies, including MAP guidelines.

In some cases:

  • A brand may restrict or deny price matching
  • A product may be ineligible regardless of competitor pricing

While we do our best to support competitive pricing, price matching is not guaranteed and may be declined based on these restrictions.

How to Request a Price Match

To request a price match, please contact our customer support team with:

  • A link to the competitor’s product page
  • The advertised price
  • Any relevant details (e.g., shipping cost, availability)

Our team will review the request and respond as quickly as possible.

Final Notes

Price matching is offered at our discretion and is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to:

  • Verify retailer authenticity and product eligibility
  • Decline requests that do not meet our criteria
  • Update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice
