Terms of service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of madefordogs.co and any related services, features, content, or applications (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Made For Dogs LLC (“Made For Dogs,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Who may use the Services

  • You must be 18 years or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
  • You agree to provide accurate, complete information and to keep it current.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it.

Mobile Messaging Terms (SMS/MMS)

The Made For Dogs® mobile message service (the “Service”) is operated by Made For Dogs LLC (“Made For Dogs®,” “we,” “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes agreement to these Mobile Terms. We may modify or cancel the Service, or update these Mobile Terms, at any time to the extent permitted by law. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Program content. Messages may be service-related (e.g., order updates, shipping alerts, account notices) and, with your consent, promotional (e.g., launches, specials, cart/browse reminders). Messages may be sent via an automatic telephone dialing system or similar technology.

Consent & eligibility. By opting in, you consent to receive recurring SMS/MMS from and on behalf of Made For Dogs® at the mobile number you provide, including if that number is on a state or federal Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Participation is voluntary.

Costs & frequency. We do not charge for the Service, but message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Check your mobile plan; you are responsible for all carrier charges.

Opt-out. You may unsubscribe at any time:

    You’ll receive one final confirmation message. If you subscribe to other Made For Dogs® messaging programs, you must opt out of each program separately unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Number changes & carrier notices. We may change the short code or phone number used for the Service and will notify you. Messages (including STOP/HELP requests) sent to a retired number may not be received; we are not responsible for honoring requests sent to numbers we no longer operate. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your responsibilities. You represent that you are the current subscriber or authorized user of the enrolled number and will promptly update your enrollment if your number changes (re-opt-in on the new number).

Service availability & liability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery; for any errors in message content; or for actions you take or do not take in reliance on the Service.

Privacy. We respect your privacy. For how we collect and use personal information (including phone numbers and messaging metadata), see our Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Notice”) available on our Site.

These Mobile Terms are part of—and incorporate—the Made For Dogs® Terms of Service. Where a conflict exists, these Mobile Terms control for the SMS/MMS Service.

Orders, pricing & payments

  • Placing orders. All orders are offers to purchase, subject to our acceptance and availability. We may limit or cancel quantities.
  • Pricing & errors. We try to be accurate, but mistakes can occur. If we discover an error, we’ll contact you; you may cancel or confirm the order at the corrected price.
  • Payment capture. Unless stated otherwise, payment is captured immediately at checkout. Your statement will show Made For Dogs LLC.
  • Accepted methods. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Shop Pay (and Shop Pay Installments on eligible orders), Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal Wallet, and Amazon Pay.
  • Taxes. Prices exclude applicable taxes, duties, and fees, which are your responsibility.

Shipping & delivery

  • Origin & carriers. Orders ship from Oregon via trusted U.S. carriers; some items may ship in multiple packages/days with separate tracking links.
  • Processing times. Orders placed before 5:00 p.m. PT (Mon–Fri) usually process the same business day; later orders process the next business day.
  • Transit estimates. U.S. delivery typically 3–10 days; international delivery up to 14 days (destination and customs may extend timelines).
  • Tracking. We email tracking on shipment; first scans may take 24–48 hours to appear.
  • International shipments. International orders ship via DHL; duties/taxes/fees are assessed by the destination and paid by the recipient.
  • Service disruptions. Weather, peak seasons, or unforeseen events may cause carrier delays beyond our control.
  • Free delivery promos. When active, free delivery applies to eligible U.S. states only and subject to a promotional threshold shown at checkout.

Returns, refunds & exchanges (summary)

Please see our full Return & Refund Policy for details. Key points:

  • Return window. Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused items in original packaging (all tags/labels attached).
  • Authorization required. Contact us before shipping your return; returns are mail-in only. No in-person drop-offs will be accepted at our fulfillment & return center.
  • Shipping costs. Original outbound shipping is non-refundable. Preference-based returns may incur a flat return-label fee (e.g., $8.95 U.S. contiguous; $12.95 AK/HI/PR), or you may ship with your own carrier. If we made an error or the item is defective/damaged, we usually cover reasonable return shipping.
  • Restocking. A 10–20% restocking fee may apply if items are not returned in “as new” condition; used/damaged/missing parts may be refused or refunded partially.
  • Exchanges. We only replace items that are defective or damaged. For other changes, please return the item and place a new order.
  • Partnered brands. In rare cases, we may need to loop in or direct you to the brand for warranty/replacement/parts under their rules.
  • Refund timing. After inspection, we aim to process refunds within 3 business days; your bank/wallet typically posts credits in 3–10 business days thereafter.

Product information & use

  • We aim to present accurate descriptions and images; color/finish may vary by device.
  • Use products as intended and follow all instructions and warnings. You are responsible for assessing appropriateness for your dog’s size, behavior, and activity.

Promotions, giveaways & loyalty

  • Promotions and giveaways may have additional rules that apply at entry. We may modify or end promotions at any time where permitted.
  • Our Packout Points™ rewards program (if active) is subject to separate terms and may change or end with notice.

Affiliate & influencer programs

  • Affiliate/ambassador programs and influencer collaborations are governed by separate written terms (commissions, content rights, MAP compliance, disclosures, etc.). Participants must follow FTC Endorsement Guides and platform rules.

Intellectual property

  • The Services (including text, graphics, logos, product names, photos, and software) are owned by or licensed to Made For Dogs and protected by law.
  • You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, license, distribute, frame, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

User content (reviews, comments, submissions)

  • If you submit content (reviews, photos, comments), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Services and our marketing.
  • You represent you own or control the rights to your content and that it does not infringe, defame, or violate laws or third-party rights.
  • We may moderate or remove content at our discretion.

Prohibited uses

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by:

  • Violating laws or third-party rights;
  • Interfering with or disrupting the Services;
  • Attempting to bypass security or access non-public areas;
  • Uploading malware or harmful code;
  • Scraping or harvesting data without permission;
  • Misrepresenting your identity or affiliation.

Third-party services & links

The Services may link to third-party websites, apps, or services (e.g., carriers, payment processors, partner brands). We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Review those terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimers

  • AS IS / AS AVAILABLE. The Services and all content are provided “as is” and “as available.”
  • We make no warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, or uninterrupted/ error-free operation.
  • Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers—these may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Made For Dogs and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services or products, even if advised of the possibility. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Services or products shall not exceed the amount you paid to Made For Dogs for the order giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability—limitations apply to the extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Made For Dogs and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your: (a) use of the Services; (b) violation of these Terms; (c) violation of any law or third-party right; or (d) user content you submit.

Changes to the Services or these Terms

We may modify or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations, indemnification) will survive.

Governing law & venue

These Terms and your use of the Services are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Oregon for any dispute that is not subject to other mandatory venue rules. (Nothing here prevents either party from seeking equitable relief.)

Severability; no waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver.
