Tackle daily shed and keep every coat fluffed and healthy with the Safari Wire Pin Brush—lightweight pins that glide through fur and a no-slip handle that keeps you in control.

Lifts Loose Hair & Debris

Polished wire pins reach through the topcoat, picking up shed and dander before it drifts onto floors, furniture, or car seats.

Distributes Natural Oils

Each stroke carries skin oils from root to tip, leaving fur softer, shinier, and naturally conditioned.

Gentle, All-Breed Design

Smooth pin tips massage without scratching, making the brush safe for pups with sensitive skin and effective on short, medium, or long coats.

Ergonomic, No-Slip Handle

A contoured plastic grip fits comfortably in either hand, so longer brush-outs stay easy on wrists.

Plays Well With Others

Pair the pin brush with a Safari comb, rake, or slicker to loosen stubborn mats, then brush them out for a polished finish.

Instructions

  • Work on a dry coat
  • Starting at the head, brush in the direction of hair growth toward the tail and down the legs
  • To add volume, finish with a few light passes against the grain, then smooth back with the grain
  • Clean pins by hand or rinse in mild soapy water; shake off excess and air-dry

Safety

Use gentle pressure—pins should glide, not scrape. Stop if skin reddens or your dog shows discomfort. Store out of reach of pets and children.

FAQ

Do I need a pin brush if I already own a slicker?

Yes—a pin brush is gentler for daily maintenance and finishing; use the slicker for deeper detangling, then follow with the pin brush to smooth and shine.

How often should I brush my dog?

Most coats stay healthy with 2–3 sessions per week; daily brushing helps during heavy shed seasons.

Can the brush be sanitized?

Rinse pins in warm, soapy water, rinse clean, shake off moisture, and air-dry—the metal is rust-resistant under normal use.
